A New Dimension
of Sound
In cinema, games, and music — wherever sound must
persuade — it runs up against the same limitations: a flat soundstage, acoustic masking of detail, and listener fatigue. HELIO removes these constraints. The technology restores physical plausibility to sound, not by making it ‘wide’ or ‘loud’, but by making it realistic. This is not an enhancement; it is a restoration of space. A reconstruction of a physical event.
Acoustic Hologram
on Stereo
HELIO transforms audio into an acoustic hologram — a stable sound scene that does not collapse when the listener moves. Unlike traditional systems, the technology operates within the audio signal itself, using only two channels, and completely decouples the sound from the loudspeakers. The brain perceives it as actual presence. This works on any stereo system and on headphones.
Every Sound
in Its Place
HELIO addresses a problem common to the film and game industries: acoustic masking. The technology separates dialogue and effects at the level of spatial positioning, preserving full intelligibility and loudness. Speech acquires clear articulation and its own space, whilst environmental sounds gain physicality and precise coordinates, even in the most dynamic scenes. The result is a physically convincing soundstage directly in front of the listener — one that does not overload the brain or induce fatigue.
Technology Built Through
Years of Experiments
No Decoders,
No Tracking
Spatial audio from stereo to Spatial Audio typically requires one of three things: a fixed listener position, an external decoder, or head tracking. HELIO needs none of them. The entire geometry of the sound field is formed during the recording into an audio file. No specialised hardware, metadata, HRTF filters, or head-position data required.
Presence
Effect
The technology erases the boundary between recording and live performance, constructing a tangible frontal sound image. The brain ceases to process artefacts — a natural perception arises. It resolves the ‘in-head’ localisation problem of headphones and delivers a genuine sense of acoustic presence with any audio file.
Universal
Applicability
The technology works with the global audio archive — from mono to object-based formats. It integrates seamlessly into post-production and mastering. The reconstruction occurs at the level of the recording itself. The result is holographic sound that retains its properties without limits on any playback equipment.
Sound
Restoration
HELIO restores lost transients and microdynamics, increasing coherence and returning acoustic authenticity. Without AI, compression, or equalisation. 100% mono compatibility and restoration of spaciousness to mono and stereo archives. The recording sounds as it did at the moment of creation. Free of digital
artefacts, temporal and phase smearing.
Integrity of Musical
Perception
HELIO restores timbral authenticity and the harmonic structure of music, forming a unified soundstage with a stable phantom centre. Each instrument acquires materiality and precise coordinates, and the perception shifts from listening towards live presence.

Our Mission
We created HELIO because recorded sound has lost the cause-and-effect relationship between the event and its perception. Decades of engineering compromise — from phonographs to digital. Every recording, every stage of processing introduced phase distortions. A flat soundstage, an unstable centre, listener fatigue — these are not givens, but a direct consequence of lost coherence.
The technology does not enhance sound. HELIO creates correct geometry, restoring phase coherence between harmonics and channels. Chaos is structured into order: out-of-phase becomes in-phase, a divided scene becomes a coherent acoustic event.
The result sounds natural. The brain stops expending resources on fighting distortions and perceives sound as a physical phenomenon. This is not immersion created by algorithms, but restored presence. The technology returns to sound its true significance — not to be background, but reality. The way nature intended, free from engineering constraints.
Application
Application
Music
HELIO gives back to music what for decades was considered unattainable in recording — the full spectrum of polyphony. In complex polyphonic instruments — harp, organ, piano, accordion — every voice retains its timbral authenticity and precise spatial coordinates. This applies equally to music with bells and choral parts.
The soundstage ceases to be divided into left and right channels, acquiring spectral density and depth. The effect of live voices and musical instruments is felt in both acoustic and electronic music.
